Speaking
I have been a presenter and trainer in the corporate space for many years and enjoy public speaking immensely. Apart from presentations relating to my signature topic detailed below, I'm available to act as an event MC and also specialise in writing and reading original poems for specific events. Please contact me for more information.
Signature Speaking Topic: "Self-care = Success – Look After Yourself and Fast-track Your Career"
Burning the candle at both ends ultimately leads to exhaustion, adrenal fatigue and burn-out. This presentation discusses how turning your model of self-discipline on its head and prioritising your own self-care can actually boost career success. Audience members will be provided with practical time management and self-care strategies that they can implement straight away to improve their own vitality and help them reach their potential.
This presentation topic can be delivered in a 30 or 60 minute timeframe.

Recent Speaking Opportunities
Pre-release of Willow Bloom & the Dream Keepers, by E.V. Farrell
They say that everyone has a book inside them, but as we know, not everyone brings their dream to fruition. My wonderful friend, E V Farrell has, and it was my pure pleasure to act as MC at the pre-release celebration of "Willow Bloom and the Dream Keepers" in October. Well done Elizabeth! Willow Bloom and the Dream Keepers is a wonderful read which includes just the right combination of fantasy and philosophy. Designed for the young adult audience (but equally appealing to an adult audience in my opinion), It is very uplifting, encouraging the reader to believe in their dreams. Available from all good bookstores now!
Australia Day 2018

I was honoured to be the keynote speaker at the Leongatha Australia Day Ceremony in 2018. I spoke about my strong ties to Leongatha and the South Gippsland region and my multi-passionate approach to life, finishing with the following original poem titled "Our Australia".
Our Australia
We’re only a young nation, but we’re a pretty special place,
From cities to sheep stations, the outback to rat race.
Diversity’s our strength, in ever so many ways,
From our multi-cultural makeup, to how we spend our days.
For the love of sun, sand and sea to the red of Uluru,
There’s something here for everyone, that I know is true.
With opportunities galore and freedom at our feet,
And some of the finest people you’re ever bound to meet,
My vision for this country, what I dream to see,
Is a place where we live together, in harmony.
For at the end of our days, when all is said and done,
The truth of the matter is that we all are one.
So, as we remember how very lucky we are,
May divisions erase, between those near and far.
And may our hearts be joined in solidarity,
As we focus on good fortune and prosperity.
There is no place we’d rather be than this wide brown land,
On the soil of our Australia I am proud to stand.
