Here's a little musing that arrived on the page this morning when I was pondering the state of the world, whilst observing a magnificent, colourful bird right outside my bedroom window. There is still so much beauty to be found if we choose to see it.

One from the archives! I found this poem scrawled on a napkin when searching for something in an old filing cabinet today. It must be over 24 years since I penned it on a perfect summer night at what was then “our block” and is now our home. In those days we camped in a makeshift tin shed with an old yellow stage curtain salvaged from Leongatha’s Mesley Hall for front door. We worked on our property during the day and spent nights under the stars by a roaring fire. I bathed in a tiny round red tub and always had dirt under my nails. Life was simpler then, full of wonder and possibility. I felt that time again when I stumbled upon these words today; I hope you enjoy them too.
This poem is one of my faves. Today, I included it in a gentle guided meditation focused on health, happiness and harmony for all. Thanks to the Centre for Intuitive Meditation for the opportunity to lead your Sangha Circle. It was such a privilege.
This one popped into my mind a couple of days ago. I think I’ll be venturing out and enjoying some respite in nature as soon as I can. Hope you can too, if that’s what’s calling you.
What is in a word? Oh, so very much! Imagine a world where every word is spoken with love and kindness......now that's something to aspire too.
This one arrived on the page when I was pondering the path to peace after observing disharmony on a macro and micro level.....it all begins with the Self.
